Happy Birthday Mom

Today would have been my mother's birthday. She would have been 54 years old. Her sudden passing away still confuses me and it hurts more to know that she didn't even make it to her own birthday. 

I turned 30 in December, and she made sure to come down and celebrate my birthday with me. I wish I could have made her day as special as she did mine. 

I miss you mom, and sadly, I wish you a happy birthday.
