Come enjoy the old-fashioned atmosphere in this beautiful historic town. The clip-clop of the horse drawn hayrides, carolers singing and the sparkling white lights throughout the town combine to make a Christmas celebration to remember. Many open houses at shops, businesses, churches and the library offer refreshments, live music, craft demonstrations and free raffles from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Free hayrides, hot cocoa, cider and more on the Common. Puppet shows at the Town Hall, the "Sugar and Spice" Gingerbread House Contest at the Senior Center and find 9 elves hiding at shops to win a prize in the Elf Hunt.The highlight of the day's festivities, the beautiful spruce tree will be lit at 5:45 p.m, with the Christmas Concert to follow at the Great Hall, 2nd floor of the Town Hall at 6:15 p.m.
